Created as a celebration of life and a blessing for all who encounter it, this piece embodies joyful wishes for the world. I layered golden mizuhiki cords—traditional Japanese decorative cords used for auspicious occasions—over vibrant red and white hues, and adorned the canvas with shimmering, pearl-like particles of light to evoke a sense of radiance and festivity.
